My friend recommend me this outlet at Clementi.
Heard a lot about it so she brought me there yesterday.
I ordered lamb chop, she ordered steak and her son ordered chicken chop.
Don't find anything special and I wouldn't recommend any ppls there.
Thought of going to The Ship at Shaw House.
Should have stick to my original plan. |

i think the attraction is the big portions? value for money i guess...
i've been in that area a lot of times to visit the aquariums one block away but never tried the food from botak jones  |

yup, the attraction is its huge serving... was at the bishan branch not so long ago and order a burger... cant recall which item.
for around $10 i get a huge burger + fries.
I will rank it better than most hawker western food, but less than the best steak restaurant.
if ambiance is not what u seek for. its comparably better than some western restaurants.
3.5 our of 5 aprons.
Or if one seek a above average steak at good price. Its worthwhile to try at Aston specialist. :D |

Nah... the portion wasn't big.
Understand that they have scale down the portion and it doesn't "come with everything".
You've to state what you want.
Think I would prefer the western food at some of the coffee shop. |

the fries portion was quite big... maybe coz i never tried the steak lah...
will try it again when i have the craving.. usually, i still stick with aston specialist lah. |

I went to Botak Jones before also, and think it's over-rated. Burger not big enough, fries not enough also. 
Don't taste fantastic either. |

Thot since you've "downsize" the portion should be enough for you.

Yes initially when it started it was Western standard portion just like
Planet Hollywood time.
But do note that they expanded and with Jones marrying a local, it's
only time when the portion shrinked while the price stays. |
